Stefan Codrescu is a software engineer currently working on GOES-R series space weather data processing at the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) through the Cooperative Institute in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Since joining CIRES as a student in 2012, he has worked on other projects including crowd sourced social media observations of aurora, data visualization, and data access, including NCEI's DSCOVR data access site.
Stefan has a BS in Applied Math from the University of Colorado Boulder and is finishing a BS in Computer Science, expected May 2020.
